Background
Malmö-born artist HARVIG writes about what feels and is real. Behind the artist name is Hannah Harvigsson, who previously went by the name Hanutten and has been an active artist and songwriter for over ten years. She currently lives in Västerås and spends her time with one leg in the world of music and the other in the leisure leader profession.
When Hannah was 11, she got her first guitar from her older brother, who had a home studio where he wrote and recorded hip-hop. Hannah started rapping in her brother's room, but soon after, she started learning to play the guitar and write her own songs.
In her teens, she became interested in arranging her own concerts and running projects, and the artist profile Hanutten grew. Over time, she began to run larger cultural projects, including the Arvsfons project Säg det - Sen gör det, which became very successful and talked about around Skåne. During these project years with Säg det - Sen gör det (2018-2021), Hannah received, among other things, the Framtidens Musikpris for innovative and new-thinking ideas.
Much of Hannah's work has highlighted mental illness, emotional life and her own experiences. But also to promote a more equal music scene. When she moved to Västerås, in 2022, she began arranging concert events with a focus on female musicians and artists. She also started the initiative Känslotåget, which has become a recurring concept together with her colleague Cissi Glave around the county with a focus on young people's mental health and creativity.
Working interdisciplinary is a large part of her work, and music has extended into art, theater, and other creative expressions.
She is now up to date with new music from the upcoming album Vykort och Frön and is on a small spring tour from South to Central Sweden.
